ABOUT ME

Grrrr, I hate this bit, it would be so much easier to get someone else to fill this in. Anyway, I'm a gregarious sort of guy who lives for the moment and changes my mind in a flash.

Pretty well up for anything and if I like it will go back for seconds. I love the outdoors and enjoy hiking, mountain biking, road biking and long weekends on the motorbike.

I have been to two weddings now of people who have Couchsurfed with me, open to more offers 😉😉😉

PHILOSOPHY

Don't take life too seriously. Do it now. You can make a difference. Animals have rights too.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Well I have been lucky I guess as I have been couch surfing around the world long before I knew this site existed. It ranged from bus shelters in France, to a condo overlooking the Tiber in Rome and everything in between.

兴趣

Travel is my biggest interest and its great when I can combine it with history and meeting the locals. Anything at least once, then we will see. I hate Hotels as so impersonal and not a big fan of Hostels as they are full of other travelers.

Movies with a story, really enjoy Love Actually, The Long Way Round and mostly art house movies. My music selection is large and varied, everything from Mozart to Bob Dylan....whatever mood I'm in.

When visiting Japan we found a thermal waterfall that had about five pools, all different temperatures. You could climb up to the pool that was the best temperature for you and just sit there in the middle of nowhere, just awesome.

I have also cycled the length of New Zealand to work up an appetite for some fresh oysters, 2000 km over 20 days.
