About Me

Hey there, my name is Peter and I live in Aachen at the moment, where I work at the university researching sprays. I also work part time in a research facility on renewable energies and dedicate a lot of time to my project www.aktion-sodis.org, a non-profit working on sustainable development in the bolivian highlands.
I try to ride my bike once a day at least and I love french fries.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love to meet new people, hear their stories and have a good time! Exploring new places with fellow Couchsurfers is always a blast

Interests

I am not the Person to do things alone. With friends around, almost everything is more fun and more memorable. I love riding my bike through the forrest, going for Long hikes, Train rides, discovering new places. And most of all: travelling!

Music, Movies, and Books

I've been reading a lot of travel documentary literature lately, and the books from Gabriel Garcia Marquez and Mario Vargas Llosa while I was in South America. In General I'm always looking for authors from the places I travel to/live in. But you can also get me hooked on some fine Fictional/Fantasy literature as Lord of the Rings, A Song of Ice and Fire

Movies: Little Miss Sunshine, Ciudad de Dios, El Secreto de Sus Ojos, The Shawshank Redemption and lots more!

Music: I love funky tunes. Billy Cobham, Lee Fields, Bill Withers, Vulfpeck. Altin Gün is a band I recently have listened to a lot.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hiking the Choro Trail in Bolivia

Teach, Learn, Share

Not sure if it's a teachable thing, but cooking is one of my Hobbies, so I'm always up to sharing meals and exchanging recipes, cooking together

What I Can Share with Hosts
