I traveled a lot five years ago. I went to Paris, Guanajuato (MX), and all over Chiapas with various friends for pleasure. Also, I taught English in India for a short period of time. Since then, I have been creating a tight knit community within Portland and creating my sense of identity and belonging in the world. Monday through Friday I am with 22 five and six year olds helping them learn and grow critically and creatively.

I have been to the most beautiful place on Earth in Chiapas, Mexico called Aqua Azul. Due to the high mineral count, the cascades are very rich in the bluest color of blue that I have ever seen.

I can share kindness in many forms. I'd like to give back by buying food and cooking it for the host(s). Take them with me to travel, if schedules permit. Fill up their car with gasoline... I love feeling helpful. I'll clean their house, bathroom, car and/or yard. Or, help them repair their house, garden, run errands, babysit, or teach them or their children to read in English.
