Overview
About Me
I'm a Pole living in the UK. I've always wanted to travel, but always felt held back by the logistical issues of finding a travelling companion. Now I've discovered that it is perfectly possible to travel on my own and I'm making the best use of it. I enjoy meeting new people, although I would define myself as extroverted introvert - and while I love to socialize, I'm shit at small talk until I've had enough alcohol.
I'm not a big fan of the whole 'loving-life hippie discover-the-world adventurer' walls of text people tend to write on here, so I'll pass. If I didn't love life and adventure, I wouldn't be on here.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm making my way round China throughout July and want to meet people to make this trip more unforgettable.

Music, Movies, and Books
I used to be an absolute metalhead, but then diverged into more "tame" genres - while I still love my extreme metal, I do enjoy diverse music. Recently I've been discovering nu-jazz. Nevertheless the best gigs I went to were Behemoth (mostly through nostalgia goggles) and Rammstein. Love me some punk rock too.
My favourite authors include Neil Gaiman and Umberto Eco. I've quite enjoyed some works of Harumi Murakami, Stephen King and James Clavell, too. Nostalgia points : Sapkowski.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Breaking and entering a construction site to climb a crane and have a beer atop it in the middle of the night.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I'm an okay cook, speak a couple of languages people may want to learn and have a decent track record fixing electronics.
