ABOUT ME
I am a curious person, interested in many aspects of life. I was born in Hämeenlinna and lived there for first twenty years of my life. After finishing high school I moved to Tampere to study at university and graduated in 2010. During the years Tampere has become a new home for me, with lots of great friends and lovely places to enjoy.
I enjoy people and interacting with them. I like to keep my head up as I walk and look into people's eyes instead of simply studying the surface of the road. Sometimes I like to just listen to people while they tell what they have to say and how they feel about things. I am spontaneous and honest, and also pretty straightforward. And I never feel myself bored - there's always things to do or ponder about. I am also considerate and thoughtful of other people and expect the same from others.
I enjoy nature and have somewhat green values and try to live my life accordingly, but are not too strict about it.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I host people during summers meanwhile trying to travel as much as possible. Unfortunately for the last year I've been pretty busy workwise, so not so many trips lately. :(
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I am still a newbie. I tried couchsurfing for the very first time during a road trip to the United States in Spring 2012. I was traveling with my friend Pekka, who had already been hosting some people at his place for some time, but had not yet tried surfing himself. All of our hosts during the trip were such nice and helpful people. They really made a permanent impression on me. So far I have only had positive experiences from CS and I wish it stays that way. I also hope to be as nice host to others as my hosts have been.
Interests
I mostly spend my time reading, photographying, attending music gigs and concerts, volunteering and riding my motor/bicycle. My interests are many.
- concerts
- sauna

Teach, Learn, Share
Finns enjoy the lightest and warmest time of the year by spending time at their summer cottages. In the summer cottages Finns love to go to sauna and swim in the lake. Activities also include fishing, rowing, reading, playing summer games and grilling. There's less than five and half million Finns and almost half a million summer cottages, roughly one for every five households!
