About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Discover post-school life! And learn to cook. And to drive. And to play music. And to draw better. And practice my english. And meet people!

ABOUT ME

I'm a french 3D artist, and a recent graduate of Supinfocom School (Arles, FR). It means I just got out of three long years of living in front of my computer and working all day & all night long (sleep is death, as they say).

Don't misunderstand me : it was truely awesome, and I enjoyed every minute of my studies. But now that I'm out... I CAN'T WAIT TO SEE THE WORLD!

... as quick as possible, before I find a fascinating & time-consuming job! ;)

PHILOSOPHY

Well, I'm still looking for my personal philosophy. People say that I'm a workaholic. I guess I need to find the right philosophy to fix that.

Interests

Art in general, Cinema & Video Games in particular. I enjoy making animation films (good thing that's my job) and I'd love to create video games.

Yes, I do think I'm a geek. A little bit. Oh, come on, it's not that bad. Also, I've always been fascinated by insects of all kind.

I like to travel too, but I didn't have the occasion of doing this very much. My biggest travel was for work, last year, when I found an internship in Auckland, NZ. It was a wonderful experience... and the first time I took a plane! 35h flight, I had enough time to get used to it!

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies : I'm a huge fan of Darren Aronofsky's Work, from Pi to Black Swan. I also fancy most of Guy Ritchie's and Danny Boyle films (Snatch, Sunshine, 28 Days Later, Trainspotting...). And I watch, of course, a lot of animated features & short films, from Disney/Pixar, Dreamworks, Ghibli, BlueSky, but also from smaller teams (Le roi et l'oiseau, Kaena, Fantastic Mister Fox, Persepolis, The Secret of Kells...)

Music : From Classical to Post-Rock Music... Godspeed! You Black Emperor, This will destroy you, Tchaïkovsky, Ez3kiel, The Beatles, Ghinzu, God is an Astronaut, Beethoven, John Murphy, Maybeshewill, Mogwai, Iggy Pop, Nine Inch Nails, The Killers, Ratatat, Gorillaz, Portishead, Beirut, Mogwai, Arcade Fire...

Books: I used to read a lot, but to be honnest, I almost completely stopped when I began to study. I like Tolkien and Azimov (well okay, it's common sense for a geek), Terry Pratchett, Kai Meyer, Eoin Colfer, Jonathan Stroud...

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach computer graphics, from photoshop to advanced computer graphics & animation.

I'd like to improve my traditional drawing skills, as well as my english. By the way, sorry for all the errors I certainly wrote while editing this page.
