About Me

CURRENT MISSION

A Great Adventure Or Nothing At All

ABOUT ME

My name is James. I'm 34, from a small town called San Luis Obispo, Ca. I spent a few years traveling in Europe when I was in my late 20's and was introduced to couchsurfing along the way. Now I run a coffee shop, a restaurant, and a deli. I have an open couch most of the time and would love to host!

PHILOSOPHY

life is short and goes by fast...make your story a good one..at the end of our lives it's all we'll have.

Music, Movies, and Books

Country music. 80's rock, Hip/hop, R&B, Classical, Jazz...pretty much everything but Gangsta Rap, and even some of that is tight.

Toilers of the Sea, A Portrait of the Artist as a Young Man, 93, The Man Who Laughs, Les Miserables, Notre Dame de Paris, Confederacy of Dunces, East of Eden, The Sound and the Fury, Great Gatsby, Roots, Autobiography of Malcolm X, Losing my Virginity, Made in America, Titan, Fight Club, Invisible Monsters, Lonesome Dove, All 6 Harry Potter Books, Wind in the Willows, The Game...too many to name, but I read all the time and am always adding to my faves. Books on mafia dudes, history, and serial killers are also super interesting. Aristotle, Aquinas, Locke, Nietzsche, and Russell are always good for sharpening up the wits a bit.

Anything by Victor Hugo, Chuck Pahlanuik, David Sedaris, John Steinbeck, William Faulkner, Thomas Sowell, James Joyce...
