ABOUT ME

I enjoy some simple things in life: the sunrise, the sunset, the ocean, caipirinha along with some well seasoned food, the wet sand on a summer night, the stars, a book or a movie, but, most of all, I enjoy sharing these simple things with others.

PHILOSOPHY

The best lesson that I have learned is that happiness is not something that you should strive for. It is something that it is given to you once you take some time to appreciate all that you have.

In this fast-paced world I like to think that I have learned to slow down to let the beauty of the universe sink in. That makes me happy.

I am passionate about the outdoors. I appreciate surfing most of all, but I also enjoy rock climbing, hiking, camping, sightseeing, traveling, and so on.

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

Watched the full moon rise over the horizon the day after the vernal equinox (it won't happen again for another 100 years or so, so I think it was pretty amazing that I got to see it).

I can always teach you Portuguese and, by the way, I would love to learn Italian.

I used to be a swimmer, so tell me if you need a lesson.

I also do a very good Caipirinha (to my taste, at least). ;)
