About Me

CURRENT MISSION

I want to experience the different cultures around the world. I think if more people learned about each other, we would have a much more HUMAN race

ABOUT ME

The resort town of Park City Utah is where I raised my family. As my child was almost grown, I decided to change careers and do something that would benefit humanity and be more satisfying for me. So I became a paramedic and loved it. I was promoted to be the first female Capt of Boise Fire in Idaho. I believe every person has something inheretly good about them. Some people just make you work harder to find it. I have a philosphy that if everyone in the world was to have a nap, a massage, take a little (or long) bike ride or other physical activity and eat more chocolate, topped off by a glass of red wine, each day . . .the world would have peace!!! THat's my theory and I am going to do my part to stick to it! Wanna join me?

PHILOSOPHY

We will make it work! Everyone has some good in them somewhere

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Surfed my way through Italy a few years back. Host a couple of folks and enjoyed the company of other c.surfers over the years.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Although I have slept on a few couches in my life though, the best experience I have had a was in Torino, Italy. Such a great time with host and new friends. This is definitely the way to travel!

Interests

I love meeting and talking to people, especially the elderly - so much history in their eyes, mt biking, hiking, swimming, photography, red wine, chocolate and my old labrador dog!Oh, yea, my kid is the center of my universe, but right now he is out experiencing the world traveling and cycling through Europe, so I don't see him much these days.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The most amazing thing I have done is raise my child. He is a beautiful human being and a fabulous athlete.

Teach, Learn, Share

I really want to learn Italian. I have never been successful learning a new language. I don't think I have the gene! But I want to try.

I teach emergency medicine as a part of my job. I don't know if anyone is interest, but I have desire to share. I also use to teach mt biking (mainly to children and novice)
