ABOUT ME

I'm an easy going, positive person who likes to travel, read, take in live music, have a few drinks with friends, meet new people and learn new things. I do not smoke cigarettes, but occasionally enjoy a good cigar (never inside). I spent 18 months living in New Orleans to help with energy efficient rebuilding, which was both frustrating and rewarding. I fell in love with the city - a soul and culture unlike any other in the U.S.

Afterwards I spent 6 months traveling through South America, then moved back to Denver for 2.5 years. I'm currently taking time off work (again) and am in Medellin, Colombia for at least the next few weeks. After that, who knows?

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I got started as part of a trip through South America. The first couch I surfed was in Porto Seguro, Brazil and I had a great time meeting locals and learning more about them and their country. I have since really enjoyed meeting other couchsurfers along the way (Argentina, Ecuador, Colombia), and I look forward to meeting more of you.

Interests

Snowboarding, meeting new people, biking, being outdoors, festivals, live music, traveling - I guess that one is obvious :), exploring both big city life and small towns, beaches, living life as fully as possible
