About Me

I love traveling. I love it because I love culture. I believe I can only learn more through cultural exchange. I love exploring different kinds of culture so i've always loved meeting people.

[Note: I'm just new in couchsurfing so i asked for some advice from other surfers. So im trying my best to take their advice into account. Im on the process of gathering all the information i need to know and starting to get as much experiences as I could. I hope i could also be one of those frequent surfers/hosts that contributes a lot to the CS family. :)]

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm here because I LOVE TRAVELLING.

Well, "travelling" itself is a vast concept. It involves a lot of things. And what I love about it is that you can learn so much. You even get to learn some things you can never learn in school. It's where you gain experiences, friends, and memories. As you travel the world and indulge with different cultures and deal with different types people, it makes you more of a person. Someone who's stronger, braver, and wiser.

COUCHSURFING, I believe, is pretty much what I was talking about. Everything I wanted to experience and learn is right here. :)

Music, Movies, and Books

I don't actually have a specific preference on music. I like catchy songs. But sometimes i like love songs. Well, it depends. Cause music changes my mood. ^^

Movies. I like action movies, fantasy, comedy and romantic movies.

I am so not into reading books. I prefer reading blogs and articles online. The last time I actually read a book was when I was doing my thesis in college. ^^

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I think for now, one amazing thing I've done is when I travelled to another country for the first time by myself. It was my first time going to another country and I don't have someone travelling with me! I was just a college student that time.

I went to korea because my friend was there. At first, I was so confident. But when I was preparing all the documents needed for my trip I started doubting myself. So what I did was search some reviews or advice on the internet. Gathered all the information I needed. And ta-dah! I was able to go to korea by myself. I was still nervous though. It didn't went out smoothly but I learned a looooot of things. And now i'm applying it everytime I travel.

Actually, that is when I started to love travelling. I was so amazed with myself thinking that I can do more in the future.

Teach, Learn, Share

We learn from other people and they learn from us too.

We gain some experiences and we share that to people who need to know more.

We learn to be considerate with other people because we know we were once in their shoes.

We teach them so they won't make the same mistakes we did and so they would learn what we learned along the way.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share them all the knowledge I know. I can share them the Filipino culture. I can give tips on travelling in the philippines or the places I've been to.

I can do some household chores. I can cook. I can also teach them the language I know. But more than that, we can exchange cultures.

Anyway, i'm not hard to deal with. I am a person who can adapt easily. ^^
