About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To see new places, meet new people, and enjoy life!

ABOUT ME

I am a fun friendly girl who loves to laugh and have a good time. I love spending time with my friends and meeting new people. I love to travel and learn about new cultures. I believe that everyone should be open minded, and not take themselves too seriously.

PHILOSOPHY

I believe that everyone should have an open mind. Respecting people for who they are is something that I believe our society is truly lacking. I try to appreciate a person for who they are, it makes life more interesting. I also believe that people shouldn't get bogged down in the little problems- positivity is a powerful thing. I also believe that the ocean (salt air, rolling waves, etc) can cure anything from a bad hangover to heartsickness.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Since I've joined CS I've only had the chance to travel and not host. I love meeting new people and I am excited to get the chance to host someone in my own city.

Interests

I love being outdoors- some of my favorite things are sailing and skiing, both of which I've been doing practically since birth. I love low key days just hanging out on the beach and fun nights partying with old and new friends. I enjoy reading and love music (the range of music I listen to might be surprising even- from alternative, to rap, to reggae, to country, to classical).

Music, Movies, and Books

All music- it really depends on my mood what I want to listen to at the time. Summer is approaching and I'm starting to feel the familiar pull of reggae and upbeat beats. I have lots of favorite books, the most recent favorite is "The Alchemist". Movies- love, haven't seen enough truly good ones lately, suggestions please!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I sat on the very edge of a cliff in Portugal that was deemed "The End of the World" when people still thought the world was flat. I can now understand why they thought this and why some people wanted to go explore the ocean and test this theory.

Countries I’ve Visited

Czech Republic, France, Germany, Gibraltar, Morocco, Spain, United Kingdom
