I love to dance (contact, ecstatic dance, 5 rhythms, etc), garden, play music. I get along best with artists, healers, and humanitarians. I have a house in Oakland, California where I have lived for 8 years. I love being outside in nature and also enjoy the city from time to time. I am on a spiritual path and value introspection. I also like to have a glass of wine or a beer from time to time and enjoy making jokes and laughing a lot. I practice yoga, meditation, nonviolent communication and love learning about other ways of being that help us to wake up and live more peaceful lives.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have a grounded energy and am genuinely curious and empathetic to meet new people and love to travel. I have a spare room in our home in Oakland that we use to host travelers. I have never done an organized couch surfing account yet, I generally just meet friends or friends of friends but I am getting to areas where I don't have any network and would love to find ways to meet local people and keep the vibes family style vs commodification through Airbnb, etc.

I am mostly vegetarian and would love to find homes that have healthy vegetarian kitchens to share meals!
