About Me
ABOUT ME
I am an emergency nurse with a slight penchant for adrenaline… I love my job but I also love travelling. Yes I have inherited my wanderlust and restlessness from my parents who were nomads themselves :) I have travelled a fair bit but I still have this craving to explore the world. I don't think the void will ever be filled… there's always places to visit and plenty of people to make friends with….
Anyway, I love photography, art, travelling, cooking, books (I am a bibliophile!), and sports. I think I am a pretty reasonable cook. I am a bit of a foodie and I am willing to taste anything… except brains (lol). Heston and Jamie are my heroes.
I am very slowly learning how to surf and ride a motorbike. On the surfing front, I am miserably still struggling. I do, however, make the most incredible nose dives! lol I am nearly there in getting my motorbike licence. One day I will do a motorbike trek across route 66 in the USA! :)
PHILOSOPHY
Live the moment. Take that opportunity with both hands and run with it. Don't hesitate, the moment you do is when you've lost that chance.
Do one thing everyday that scares you.
Whatever you are, be a good one.
LEAP and the net will appear.

Music, Movies, and Books
I pretty much listen to all sorts of music.. it just depends on my mood. My obsession on Tiesto today can wane the next day.. and move onto the Lamplights.. or Dave Matthews… or Johnny Cash... or Birds of Tokyo..
I enjoy varying types of movies as well… but I draw the line on horror. I was made to watch Dawn of the Dead because it's a cult movie.. I hated it and at the same time loved it but not enjoy its futility… I would never watch it ever again :p
I love books, especially art and photography books… my collection consists of art, history, photography, philosophy, sociology, science… etc. I'm currently reading Sex at Dawn by Christopher Ryan. It talks about the prehistoric origins of modern sexuality.. pretty riveting stuff ;-)
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I have done and seen quite a few amazing things in my travels...
I will never forget the sight I saw on Poon Hill in Ghorepani, Nepal. That was incredibly breathtaking.
Night swimming in Nara Inlet in the Whitsundays was exciting!
Seeing the bird's eye view of Sydney from the top of the Harbour Bridge.
Seeing a solitary bakehouse in the middle of the trek to Manang. They made the most amazing cinnamon rolls… EVER!
I was totally impressed with my dad when he called the porpoises while we were sailing in the Philippines on my 9th birthday. The porpoises surfaced and caught up with us and started jumping out of the water… best ever birthday present.
Anyway, my list can go on forever… but you get the idea ;-)
