ABOUT ME

We like to travel off the beaten path, meeting locals, observing the scene and getting a real feel of a place. We're both laid-back, good listeners, conversational--Steve is the funny one. We've been together over 13 years--though that doesn't seem possible!-- so very stable, no drama. Travel whenever we can but when we're home we tend to hang in coffee shops, hike or stay home, pursue interests/hobbies, watch movies, have friends over.

PHILOSOPHY

We are all one. In the mind-trap of modern living we put up all kinds of barriers to hide from that truth. The moments or days of letting go and tapping in are so quietly glorious.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We are enthusiastic newcomers to couchsurfing. We will be traveling this summer and look forward to meeting other couchsurfers abroad --for tea and a chat, a walking tour or a couch stay.

We look forward to showing folks our neat little mountain town in AZ, rich in history, beauty and wildlife. You might even get a slice of homemade fig pie with fruit fresh from our tree!

Emily is an avid knitter, happpy to share tips with other knitters or give a lesson to a beginner.
