About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To meet wonderful people from all over the world.
ABOUT ME
Chloe: I am a French-American with a love of sports, food, and languages. I love to travel and learn about other cultures. My quirky side includes unicycles and playing the French horn.
Tina: I am a Haitian transplant and was born to dance (I am a horrible dancer but will uninhibitedly dance like noone is watching. I do most of my dancing while cooking.)
Iâm really good at Laughing, thinking, entertaining, cooking, listening to friends, daydreaming about writing a play, wishing I were more active in socially relevant issues...
PHILOSOPHY
Life is meant to be a shared experience. Also, Hakuna Matata.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Open our couch up to surfers whenever we have one available. Share our knowledge of LA, NY, and any place we have traveled with fellow surfers.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Chloe: While I was living in Talloires, France, I met a rad dude from Portland. I chatted with him, and it turned out he didn't have a place to stay in the town, so I offered. He stayed with me for 4 days, and we had an amazing time chatting, drinking great beer, and making homemade applesauce. It was an awesome first CS experience! I then hosted many times and couch surfed in Ecuador.
Tina: Chloe has recently introduced me to CS. I am so excited to get to know the CS community.
Interests
Chloe: I really enjoy sports, including but not limited to soccer, lacrosse, and basketball. I also love reading in order to learn and expand my imagination. I love pretty much any outdoor activity, especially hiking, water skiing, and swimming. Traveling is a huge priority for me. I have lived in Syria, Thailand, and France and traveled around those areas.
Tina: Learning, growing, hiking, tennis, great food, random conversations with strangers who soon enough are no longer strangers, people watching, the brain and the mind it generates, neuroethics, science policy, good books, roaming⦠Traveling
