CURRENT MISSION I am traveling the east coast, 0n route 81 follow my son who is hiking the AT I need places to stay for at least 2 days between meeting up with him that is safe and close to the trail heads in case he has an emergency, I have been a host for many years on CS now it's my turn to travel, since gas prices have soared it has cut my budget to an extreme so hoping to find some great hosts in my travels. by the way I do have a 14 year kitty he has kennel, or can be contained in my van if need be. thank you in advance I would even be happy with a driveway as I have bed in my van.

ABOUT ME

cruiseship addict outgoing friendly! currently on the road, traveling in a camper van with my 14 year old kitty. My son is Hiking the AT and I am following his journey in my van. and meet up
with him in different towns along the way. I am looking for safe places to stay even if it's your driveway

PHILOSOPHY

pretty laid back and go with flow of things I like to read, I am a avid cruise traveler been on 23 cruises to eastern and western carribean and canada, and a few cruises to nowhere, I spend alot of time with my kids now that I am retired, I like to visit casinos and I am a facebook addict :( mostly games tho.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am a easy going person, kind hearted, willing to help people out in a bind, as I know what it is like to be stranded for a night or two when traveling .

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have only hosted!! I have tried to use CS when I went to New Orleans and had much Difficulty finding a host, which really surprised me as it being a very popular town to visit, was almost stranded till some kind CS offered me one nite before I had to catch my train home, the other nites I had to get a hotel room, which really defeated my purpose of staying in Nola for the time planned

mostly traveling and trying to visit as many places as I can, I have left NJ moved to Fl for 2 years, currently I am in Nebraska as a home base with my oldest daughter. and have made plans to do the travel thing on the east coast along the A TRAIL following my hiker son looking for adventure and new friends along the way. I am a senior and trying to cram traveling in as much as possible,
