CURRENT MISSION
To take a step back and keep learning!
ABOUT ME
Personal description: right this is tough so I guess that would class me as a typical Irish guy then.
It's hard to tell you who I am through this but I'll tell what i've done and hope to do:
I've just finished my undergraduate degree and I'm currently working.
At the moment I'm dipping my toe into a somewhat eclectic mix of hobbies and interests but I'm hoping that eventually at least one will stick.
Saying that I do enjoy being outside and working with my hands i.e. welding, carpentry that sort of thing....
My biggest hope for the future is to find something to be passionate about and make it my life, career and all the rest of the clichés.
PHILOSOPHY
Be good to people, keep an open mind, don't waste time. (that last one is easier said than done :D)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
So my situation at the moment doesn't lend itself well to hosting but I'm happy to show interesting and interested people around Galway. It's a great place and it's even bettter been shown around by a quasi/semi-native.
In the future I hope to fly the nest and do a bit of surfing myself but for the minute I'll have to make do with staying in Galway and gleaning world insights from passers by.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
So I hosted a hand full of people last summer and each of them were well worth hosting. I gave them a place to stay and they gave me, you guessed it: "An insight into their worlds" which were generally unique in ways that you can't often pick up from a book.
Interests
Cooking, reading, watching telly (I'm kind of addicted to the discovery channel :)), having the chat, surfing, snowboarding, sleep.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
A zambian guy catching a 3 foot catfish just as our raft paddled by him (we were whitewater rafting at the time), what a hero!
