I've got august off, I have a bike, tent and wet suit ... must make it to tofino and back again with too many good Vancouver lsland memories and New Visions.

When wondering whether to host, please be aware I dont take up much room, its just a cuppa and sense of community that I like to take...

CURRENT MISSION

English Girl in Vancouver and maybe if im lucky the rest of BC....

Looking to base myself here for a while but would love the chance to meet some local faces, here some interesting stories, and check out whatever new adventure someone wants to advise. (big plus for using this awesome site)

This will help my travel hat stay firmly on before life gets too real over here, as I just don't want to ever wake up and be complacent seeing a mountain range right there, or Just there!!

I can cook in any kitchen size, with any appliance as a way of saying thank-you (standard obviously can varries depending on the above, and choice of local amenities).

and would love to keep in touch even if the couch is not needed afterwards :)

I love to learn about food and religion ... (bit of dinner or meditation has definitely helped me a few times) Its great for helping define and shape, all these lovely different cultures out there, ey?
I love the great outdoors .... Water, Land, Sky, with some Sun for a healthy glow, but its always greatly improved whilst Laughing haha!
I don't especially like wearing shoes or watching people in bad moods to often.....
I like to plan the big things and wait on the small things!!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

After using CS in the states back in 2012 it was first a replacement for hosteling to keep the budget away from hotels and motels. Now however after enjoying countless experiences over the last 3 years and away from mindless hostel 'where do you come from' chat to interesting adventures it is certainly the social, travel guide for me!

My first experience started when I learnt that I never knew I could be such a dirty hitchhiker, heading down the US and not knowing where the next State was going to be... well finishing up in Dallas couldn't have been planned better than the way it happened!!
And to find yourself (within an hour) in an awesome bachelors pad (with a motorbike workshop/bedroom) and getting ready for a night out (at the local neighbourhoods open air cool bar/club) and being able to use straighteners and any kind of hotel toiletry well how could a first experience be much better!!
so now yes I love you boys u know go you are :) and you'll always be the one CS Night I could never forget!

Although when coming home in the evening whilst staying in the surf capital of California, Mr. Meagey (the dog) you where defiantly the best welcome each night and your owner (Mr. Kevin) with some awesome home cooked dinner was defiantly highly appreciated. Especially when its coming to the end of your trip and another burger is just not what you need, That can play a 2nd that's gunna find it hard to left my memory!

So thanks to everyone I've stayed with so far, (review or no review) and hello to any of my future couches...

I don't know where I'm off to next but when I find you there's a smile here!

Centres d'intérêt

I love the Sea, a Lake, a River, a Swimming pool (basically any kind of water facility)...
I've been a Lifeguard, tried Scuba, Surfing, Sailing, participated in a few open water events so yer, anything to get me Swimming suits best... And of course to relax unltimately get me on any kind of boat, beach or dock and im great.

When it comes to social interests, well I'm a hairdresser so it kinda finds me anywhere, that social thing... so to take the load off the chat sometimes i do like having the music playing, so whether its to relax or party i do like me music ... sometimes i like it even better when it gets me to the next morning!

As I'm a hairdresser and I just love it, I think it may count as my biggest interest though...
It helps me explore the creative and skilled based side of me aswell as encouraging me to stay inspired. sometimes its fashion and art but sometimes i gotta feed my fascination with health and well-being
but together it cures my need to be busy with my crafty hands :)

Travelling has always been a good foundation to help me grow all of these interests however and always keeps me finding new ones so yer im passionate about people and nature whatever the weather... x

Hmmmmmm....... Look up at the sky at night on the wild coast of South Africa to see the fricking milkyway tyre'in the world!!!!!! Did not have any interest in looking up before and now cannot stop! Gotta love a good SkyView App.
