Overview
About Me
Hey I’m Pearl, 25 years young from the land down under. I grew up in the Perth Hills so I very much value the nature and simplicity of life. I’m very easy going, take life as it comes, enjoy spontaneous and on the spot adventures. I love people, I love difference and I love connecting with people. I enjoy deep conversations. I’m quite a thinker. I’m a registered nurse too. In my spare time I study psychology, human behaviour and emotions. I love plants, growing my own food and watching the world go by whilst in nature. I’m a big believer in appreciating life for the simple pleasures.
Ive also just returned home from an 8 month backpacking trip around Thailand, Indonesia, Laos and Sri Lanka!!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
READ MY FULL PROFILE IN REGARDS TO MY HOME
I have received requests where people assume I live in PERTH CITY I have clearly stated I live 45 minutes out of PERTH CBD (south of Perth) also if you write a copy and paste request I'll instantly decline you :) be creative pls
I appreciate difference. I appreciate people. I appreciate life. The world is a beautiful place contrary to the idea “that everything is falling apart” Couchsurfing allows me to connect with the beauty in the world, to share our lives, interests, food, language, philosophy, interests. Some of the best people I’ve ever met are from couchsurfing. You will probably be one of those people if we meet!
Interests
I’m an active person, I train at the gym most days and love swimming and sweating in sauna. Love random drives into nature, enjoying nice food in cute cafes and wineries. Love finding a good coffee shop to enjoy. love op shopping because all the stuff is so different and I always seem to get a good buy.

Music, Movies, and Books
I have a pretty diverse music taste. Anything with a good beat. I enjoy sticky fingers, ocean alley, flume, reggeton, electronic. Something that fits the mood.
Not a movie person but I read a lot of philosophical and psychological books.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
One amazing thing? Hmmmmm that's a hard one. I backpacked Europe alone for six months at 18 (hitchhiked my way through Spain & Portugal) At 20 I went alone to New Zealand and I brought a car and drove from the north to the south in 6 weeks. Backpacked India alone, navigating the streets at midnight and sleeping in the Indian desert for 3 days whilst riding on camels. At 21 I travelled through Colombia, but my favourite was Chile. My goal was to couchsurf and hitchhike the whole 2 months, and within that 2 months I had climbed active volcanoes, hitched rides with complete strangers, partied with Chileans in their backyards and had drunk my weight in Pisco (all with local Chileans through CS)
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can share many things, depends on the type of person you are. I’m pretty flexible and can adapt to the situation well. I have lived an exciting life, I’ve met some very interesting characters and I’ve seen some breath taking, and shit scary things. I love to cook, I appreciate good food and wine, beer, whatever alcoholic beverage you may. I can share me, my way of thinking, my philosophy and I would love for you to do the same with me.
