Overview
About Me
Being somewhat of a gipsy soul, I struggle not to book those spur of the moment flights to places I wasn't even thinking of going to.
I am from the beautiful country of New Zealand, and consider myself a pretty chill, easy going person, who generally just goes with the flow. Enjoy good banter, and happy to get to know my host, or not if that's what they prefer. Extremely respectful of peoples privacy.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I am looking at doing some long-term travelling, through Europe this summer as I wait to hear back about being accepted into a Job back home in NZ. Due to my unknown timeframe, I will be trying to make my budget last me as long as possible as Europe has been my No.1 Bucketlist continent to explore. Aside from wanting to stretch out my budget, when I travel I love connecting with local people to actually get the real picture not only the postcard version. While the touristy places are spectacular, I find it's the people that make the journey an amazing experience. Plus Locals know best why wouldn't you want the insider's edge to your holiday.

Music, Movies, and Books
Love me some good old classic New Zealand bands, Dance Exponents, Salmonella Dub, Supergroove, Fat Freddy's. But no one to shy away from the current top 100 playlists also (if the song hasn't been played to death).
Books... usually find me researching how I could never work and travel forever (haven't found the answer yet).
TV series I Love! Game of Thrones, Greys Anatomy, Suits, Friends, Brooklyn 99, The Office, House of Cards.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Picked up my life straight out of Uni the age of 21 and moved halfway across the world by myself and successfully started a life in Vancouver, Canada.
Teach, Learn, Share
Can teach English.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I love cooking! Having worked as a cook through high school and as summer jobs through university, I know how to whip up a decent meal. I am Vegetarian but have been praised as a great steak cooker despite never tasting it :). Happy to cook and share a meal with any host who isn't a professional chef haha.
