About Me

ABOUT ME

I am a positive, genuine person who appreciates all types of fun and adventure. I believe in building community and growing roots, but also in saying yes to new experiences and being part of the flow of life. I am passionate about living with creativity and openness towards the world around me. I live in Oregon and work for an environmental nonprofit in forest conservation. I love my job because I get to help take care our beautiful wilderness and also because my schedule is pretty flexible and allows me to travel. When traveling or hosting, I like to meet people who are excited about their lives and want to have fun experiences with new people!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

After hearing rumors for years that there were old growth trees in the forest near Saddle mountain, we decided to try to find it. With gis maps and about 2 hours of bush whacking, I started to worry that it might not actually exist. The most amazing moment was crawling through salmon berry vines, basically falling into a rivine, and looking up and seeing a cedar tree that was wider than a 2 lane highway. It was so sacred to me to find ancient trees in a forest that I thought I knew well. We had a magical day exploring there and found many more big trees!
