I love meeting people, learning, sharing my life with others and experiencing new things. I LOVE travelling, everything about it... discovering different cultures, languages, foods... I'm now living and studying anthropology in Madrid.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have a couch in Madrid! And definitely want to host and surf as much as possible!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My first couchsurfing experience was absolutely fantastic. I was moving to Madrid to start uni but hadn't found an apartment yet. So through couchsurfing I contacted Carlos who hosted me. We hit it off straight away and became really good mates. I stayed with him until i found my own place which ended up being in the street next to his! Couchsurfing made settling into Madrid a great and easy experience. Since then i've hosted and surfed and so far every experience has been wonderful and rewarding.

Interests

As I said I love travelling and everything about it. I like cooking, cinema, paragliding, museums, yoga, russian art, live music, going out! ... generally just having a good time.

Movies: donnie darko, the shining, american beauty, snatch, the life aquatic, american history x, a single man, walk the line,the departed, let the right one in, no country for old men, fear and loathing in las vegas, TARANTINO movies!Music: everything, but if i have to name a few...rock (of all types), blues, jazz, world music, folk, electronic music and drum n bass.Books: the secret garden, the unbearable lightness of being, the lion the witch and the wardrobe, l'empire de la honte, 1984, animal farm, crime and punishment, among others.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Taking the Transiberian from Russia, through Mongolia to China.

Travelling along the amazon river from Peru to its very end in Brazil.

I'm open to learning anything! I can teach at least a bit of english and french and share ideas, music, travel stories... life.
