About Me

CURRENT MISSION

While living life as diversely as possible, never let anger get the better of you; compromise if you must

ABOUT ME

A whole box of tricks. I am a very outgoing person that will always try and be the odd one out. I regard myself as a natural leader and will take on the responsibility if shit hits the fan.

PHILOSOPHY

"If you're not living life on the edge, you're taking up too much room".
If you don't get out there and experience as much as possible from what life has to offer, what's the point?
Do something once every day that scares you. Get to know your parents, you never know when they'll be gone. Never pass up something good, as long as it outweighs the bad. Understand that friends come and go but understand that there are a select few that you will hold onto. And finally remember, always that shit happens, get on with it.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

My friend Andy and I are new to the CS project and we are currently traveling Europe switching between couches and hostels as much as possible. I believe it's important to alternate between couches and hostels if you are a Couch Surfer so you can appreciate how hospitable people can be when it comes to allowing strangers into their home.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've only CSed twice so far but both experiences have been extremely enjoyable and in return I would have to say CSing is one of those ideas that is simply, how do you say, Awesome!

Interests

Everything that includes interacting with people and enjoying life. Being an only child, I've learnt to occupy myself with almost anything I can get my hands on or mind around. I have had many jobs and been interested in many hobbies throughout my young life and if we ever meet, we can swap these stories over a few drinks. I have too many interests to list.

  • culture
  • drinking
  • traveling
  • boxing

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: Batman Begins and The Dark Knight - Favourite movies of all time.
Music: Pretty much everything but I love music that helps me to imagine.
Books: Descriptive Fantasy and Action (not corny action)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Finished army bootcamp in the Australian Defense Force. After going through such a huge culture shock, graduating after so many of your comrades have fallen brings a sense of achievement only those who have really pushed themselves from their comfort zone can understand.

Teach, Learn, Share

The experience gained from CSing is that of personal evolution and learning. From meeting new people and inviting them into your world or entering theirs, you learn more about yourself and gain knowledge from their experiences as do they from yours. With so many wonderful and different cultures around the world, the veteran Couch Surfer can only be once a perfect mix of different cultures has been gained.

Countries I’ve Visited

Czech Republic, Fiji, France, Germany, Portugal, Slovakia, Spain, Switzerland

Countries I’ve Lived In
