About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To see as much of the U.S. as I can in one summer (baseball mission)
ABOUT ME
I am a road trip loving teacher from Maine, looking to explore as much of the United States/world as possible. I love Pearl Jam and music in general. I have a lot of "useless" information that can carry a good conversation. I love making people laugh, too. Much to the chagrin of my friends I can quote FRIENDS in random conversations or quote Billy Madison and Anchorman, almost annoyingly.
PHILOSOPHY
This is the only life you have, so when you die and they ask you what you did with your life don't you want to be able to answer "I lived it, man." That's what I'm doing, as cliche as it seems. Life isn't about the materialistic things you collect throughout the years, but rather about the collection of experiences/memories you have and the interesting people you meet; both of which should change you significantly.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I am new to this whole experience, as I am venturing out this summer to travel the U.S. but I am looking forward to the experiences and people I hope to meet.
UPDATE: three summers ago I traveled the country in my car, alone, and met some amazing people along the way who changed my life. I also was able to reconnect with some old friends.
