ABOUT ME

Hi! :) I'm Pearlyn, currently a senior year student majoring in Sociology and Information Systems. I'm a huge thrill seeker and I've recently fell in love with adventure sports. In the past 3 year I've dabbled into trekking, road and mountain biking, sea kayaking, windsurfing, wakeboarding and skating and I'm looking forward to exploring more of such sports in the years to come. I'm crazily passionate about typography, graphic design, social innovation and poverty research. I have my own little social enterprise and I hope to work in an International Non-Profit Organization one day.

I live by the quote "life is either a daring adventure or nothing at all" and I strive to make every living moment of mine count – through serving others and bringing joy to their lives.

In the past 3 years I've also done quite a bit of crazy travelling. I've stayed in India for 3 months working on an education project, visited the Himalayas, explored parts of China and Thailand, lead community service projects in Vietnam and the Philippines. In May 2014 I'll be cycling 1500km along the coast of South Africa as part of a project called Cycle of Life, to provide aid to South African orphans. I hope step foot into every continent before I die.

Interests

I love all sorts of adventure sports and i'm a huge adrenaline junkie. I am obsessively in love with folk music, musicals and reading. Currently, I'm also going nuts on this TV series called Adventure Time.
