ABOUT ME

My job requires me to be 30,000 feet above ground, at least 2-3 times a week. Hence, I travel all the time. I love backpacking, explore the unknown, off the beaten path places and get immersed into the culture of a city especially getting to know the locals and trying things that a typical tourist wouldn't do. I've been to 33 countries and as far as I've traveled, travelling and seeing major attractions like Eiffel Tower or London Bridge, or even extremely touristic places, have make it less important in my travel to-do-list compared to a 20 min conversation with a local vendor. Lol.

Not a museum person, enjoy taking photographs and going on road trips. I love to try different cuisine in different places but the ultimate favorites are Mediterranean, Indian, Greek and street food.

Hope to discover new opportunities or inspiration from different cities and I always believe, happiness is the best health!

Enjoy having a good conversation with a friend over a cup of coffee or spending time alone at a cafe and read a book.

I love to google. Lol. I often find something to google eg. best places to travel during summer, how to cook healthy food etc. I enjoy trying new food but also love eating clean and be healthy. Love reading or surf diet and fitness related topics/instagram pictures.

I'm interested to always learn and do something new. Some adventurous activities during a trip could be fun! Did my first cliff diving in Santorini and I hope to do it again!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

First backpacking trip to Ireland, got lost cycling in Connemara for 4 hours and the last bus that goes to airport is in 2 hours time! If I miss the bus, I'd have to miss the flight back to Singapore and ultimately, miss my work (a long haul flight to NY) on the next day. Courageously "hitch" on one of the villagers nearby and they were so kind to transport me and my rented bike back to main town.

Traveled alone in Santorini, went into a bookshop and asked for directions to the less-known spot for cliff diving. Climbed my way there but didn't want to take the risk to do it alone (what if anything happens and nobody is around to save me!). Coincidentally, the people who work in the bookshop came. Crazily pulled a guy to cliff dive with me (we were both first timers) and since then, we became best friends.
