I have made it a point to always follow my intuition, gut, whatever. I've been on both sides of the fence, and the grass has never been greener. And, if grass needs fertilizing, the people I've met and connected with on both sides, provide the poop to keep growing and going. Love, Yo.

Be the exception. "I wasn't bad... I was full of life!" Don't let your boots gather dust. Keep moving. Always pack long underwear. Don't be a tourist... Travel.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We successfully survived hosting the Kansas City CS Summer Party at our house (minus an unfortunate kitty litter incident)! We've hosted a few really cool people! Crashed in DC with some really cool people... one of which I got to return the favor to!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

CS has forever changed and enriched the manner in which I travel. I have met some really cool people surfing. And, we've hosted some truly dynamic and diverse guests. What a great time!

Travel, travel, travel, living out of backpack, riding mc, riding mtb, shorts & flip-flops, feet in the water, surfing, sailing, my doggie-dog, ping-pong, float trips, movies, COD4 WOW (hence the nerd!), Wii, and occasionally jumping from a perfectly good airplane.

I spent a couple weeks road-tripping with the bro through the Desert Southwest. Watching a sunset, next to the Colorado River, turn the canyon walls we were surrounded by an electric and almost unnatural red was one of the most inspiring scenes I have ever seen. Then to be surrounded by more stars than I thought possible!...

Never leave home without a key to get back in. God gave us one mouth and two ears for a reason... listen more. Judge less. Be in it for the long-haul. "Be a simple kind of man" (total cheese, I know... but there isn't much more to it!). Dog is love.
