ABOUT ME

We believe in the goal of a World Community and hope to travel the world to meet our neighbors.

Our home is located in Central California not far from some National Parks. This area may be a good place to stop on the way to somewhere else. :-)

PHILOSOPHY

We try to think about how we live and have lived and attempt to continually adjust for the better. So that our lives and the lives around us are made better, if even very little.

We are hosting and making new friends and we donated some money to support this wonderful community.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We have hosted many wonderful people and each visit has been education and fun. We love to meet new people and find out about life around the world.

Interests

Amanda is interested in helping children in our educational system when they are not native English speakers. We are both working to reduce the waste we produce and live more efficiently. We like travel and people...always learning.

Music, Movies, and Books

We enjoy films and music from around the world. I suppose we can't list everything but recently we enjoyed Ma Vie en Rose, Jane Austen Book Club, Ironman, Kung Fu Panda, Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon, Hero, The Whale Rider. Amanda reads much more than I do and enjoys a wide variety of authors. This should give some indications about us.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Climbed Half-Dome in Yosemite National Park, sat and ate ice cream in Prince's Street Gardens in Edinburgh, Scotland. Picnic on a Friday Evening in front of the Eiffel Tower. Walking through Cathar Castles in southern france. Walking Las Ramblas in Barcelona. The beaches of Normandy and the Bayoux tapestry. Markets in Provence.
