About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Make my life more interesting.

ABOUT ME

I'm a strange person... and that's great!..
Since I've started studying at university my life has changed. I started rock-climbing, bouldering, travelling around the world, participating in different sport competitions, meeting much more new people, started hitch-hiking, playing ENcounter (http://www.en.cx/) and so on. Now I'm not studying, but my life is still changing - and I like it more and more!..

I still want to do a lot of things like rope jumping (done), BASE jumping, climbing 8a grades, going to space, find love (done) :) and to travel to a lot of places like Siberia, Antarctica, Africa, Caribbean islands... :)

PHILOSOPHY

Live as you want and let others live as they want...

Music, Movies, and Books

I like Guy Ritchie's films "Lock, stock or two smoking barrels" and "Snatch". They are funny and easy to watch.
Also I like "Knocking on heaven's doors" film. I would do the same if someone tells me that I'm going to die soon. :)
I like films and books about the war, but not all of them. The best film about war I've seen is "Saving private Ryan" - just incredible first 15 minutes of the film...
I've read only 3 books about the war - "War and Peace" (great book), "Spy" and "A farewell to arms", but I like them all.
Last 4 books I was reading are Dan Brown's "The da Vinci code", "Angels and Demons", "Digital fortress" and his newest book "The lost symbol"...
Not much I can say about the music - I listen it only one or two times a week. Almost all people listen music while doing something at home, but I prefer to listen Discovery or History channels... :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In May 2009 I went to Kaunas to visit my friend Kira.
There was a street fair going on that particular weekend and Kira decided to participate in street performance. She wanted me to assist with her performance and hoped that maybe we could earn some money. Her idea was to walk barefoot on the glass shivers and I supposed to throw knives to her naked stomach while she was lying on the same glass shivers. When she shown me the knives, I simply told her that there was no way I would do it and that I was too scared. But Kira really have the ability to persuade. She told me it was OK and we went on the street.
I was terrified of throwing those knives, but I did it about 20 times. Not only she stayed alive, she was absolutely unhurt!
Later it started to rain and finally, for me and my nerves, we went home. God bless the rain!!!
