About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Make a better world by touching peoples life, with hugs and science!

ABOUT ME

We Alessandro and Tatiane, are a Brazilian couple that love to travel and discover new people and cultures. We are not, in our view, pretty much stereotyped "brazilians"... We do not like barbecues (red meet), rarely drink and are not that much expansive/loudly persons...

People describes me (Ale) as obsessed with a healthy lifestyle, healthy food, physical activity everyday and such things... they just dont see his fierce division of the chocolates boxes we buy here and there... They say too im clever, smart and intelligent, funny now and then, a calm and low profile person... Others will say im an adventurous person, a serious by the book person or that i talk too much (references)...

Tati is at first glance a more closed and shy person, but you just need to give her time to feel comfortable and u'll see shes a sweet, responsible and very polite girl who with you can easily get along. But dont judge her by the blond and green eyes little girls face, shes a strong supporter for equality into gender, race or whatever realm humanity still insists in treat people with prejudice.

Ale is graduated in Physical Education and Sports and currently is a kindergarten PE teacher. Tati is a Journalism Professor at the Public University from our town, shes graduated in Communication Sciences.
In the meantime, in got a master degree and Tati got her master AND her PHD. Guess who's the smart one at this family! Those studying times allowed us to live and travel around the world and meet wonderful people that we carry for life as good friends!

For now, she just got this position as a Professor at the journalism faculty from the Federal University of Roraima and we jumped, almost blindly again, for a 5000 km adventure far from home. A bit closer than Europe, but still challenging and exciting as the same.

Right now we are living in Boa Vista, capital of Roraima State, the most northern located state in Brazilian territory, surrounded from many countries we havent visited yet! Cant wait for that!

We got this new house and a puppy to rebuild our lives up here, above the equador line. As so, we still getting furniture and such for the house, in a way that a guest room aint ready yet... We hope that in proper time we would be able to receive people again and help to show a very little visited region on this huge country called Brazil!

PHILOSOPHY

Already said in Ancient Greece: Truth, goodness and utility... try to reach at least one of this in everything that you do in your life and you´ll be giving you share to build a better world.

Well, even if you do not believe in karma or multiple lives you must agree with this: we can have a better world if us all act in a positive way, being kind, respectful and generous.

Behave with others the way you ´d like they´d behave with you.

Enjoy life through it´s simple things, nature, a smile, a hug...

I try, at least, to have a balanced mind and a healthy body...

Interests

I love sports, almost any kind, anywhere, and wanna try bungee jumping and snowboard...
But actually i only pump iron on gym and do some brisk walking with my dog...

I really like to know new people, discover the similarities and differences between our cultures, to realize in the end, that we are all humans!

I´m interested too in psychology, in watch the crowd and individuals actions and reactions to events, and look how still some people are so materialistic those days and so attached to external rewards on their behaviors...
I´m very philosophical about many things, but if you dont like to think to much, just shut me up and take another cup of tea or beer! Rolling me a ball or give me s back rub would do perfectly too...

Music, Movies, and Books

Don´t have a special taste for one style, i think it depends on the mood... I can spend some days listening erudite music on radio and go with friends to a techno party at night.

Many different movies: Lord of the Rings, Matrix, Inglory Bastards, Kill bill, Sin City, Sixth Sense, City of Angels...and sometimes, those blockbusters with many bullets, explosions and car crashes...

Books? well i do not read a lot for entertain but the last ones were those from Dan Brown... my readings are more for my studies...

Teach, Learn, Share

Pacience, respect and forgiven.... this is to teach, learn and share...
