About Me

Hello everyone!
I was born in Chile on April 1993, and although I always had the Italian passport, I had a quite normal life. I finished school, started college studying law and lived with my family.
I never felt really satisfied, and I think it was a life that I was satisfied with. Until the 4th year of Law I won a South American Scholarship (Mercosur) to work in the Federal Supreme Court of Brazil (STF) and study Law at the University of Brasilia (UnB).
There my life changed, as it opened my head and forced me to never settle for things that do not make me really happy.
I was in Brazil for a year, and on my return I decided to leave Law. I was working as a Barman in a Restaurant and now as Sales Manager in Dufry.
In March I'll go to live in Copenhagen, Denmark. My plan is work until August and try to apply for International Relations at the University of Copenhagen.
I know two people from that city, but both live in Brasilia because they work at the embassy, so they will not be there when arrive. My idea is to get some kind of help to establish the first month and a half, until I receive my first salary.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Because I want to dedicate my life to cultural exchange and it is something that makes me happy in all its dimensions.
I want to know more cultures, languages and stories that expand my head and make me a better professional and person in the future.

Interests

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I really like sports. When I was a kid i played tennis at a professional level, I practiced basketball (being Santiago's champions with my School) and this semester i participated in three different soccer leagues.
I like to read, but I have not given myself enough time to read everything I would like.
I want to learn more languages. Starting with the Danish, then French and Italian.
I think it's interesting to listen the people, understand their worldview and why they think as they think.

Music, Movies, and Books

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I try to maintain a mental opening for all kinds of music, but I have a main taste for rock and indie.
I've been disappointed by the lack of content on the films, and I'm leaning more towards the series.
My favorite book is "The Open Veins of Latin America", by Eduardo Galeano.
