I was born and raised in São Paulo, and after 22 years I'm still looking for a place that will change my mind about Brazil being the most awesome place on the planet. Even though what makes us special is beyond words, I'm always more than happy to share our culture, our traditions, our music, our way of facing life and our endless love for football - and, of course, for São Paulo Futebol Clube. I'm currently on my fourth year of law school at Universidade de São Paulo, doing an Erasmus quarter at Universitat Pompeu Fabra in Barcelona; I play football at my university in Brazil; I love literature, cinema and drinking (I'd choose a bar over a club a thousand times), and I'm very grateful for this opportunity I'm having of getting to know a little bit about Europe.

Siempre he vivido en São Paulo, y después de 22 años sigo todavía buscando un sitio que me pruebe que Brazil no es el mejor lugar del planeta. Aunque lo que nos hace especiales no se pueda explicar con palabras, me encantaria compartir un poco de nuestra cultura, tradiciones, música, nuestra manera de encarar la via, y nuestro infinito amor por el fútbol - y por São Paulo Futebol Clube.
Estoy en mi cuarto año de derecho en la Universidade de São Paulo, estudiando un trimestre en la Universitat Pompeu Fabra en Barcelona.
Juego al fútbol en mi universidad en Brazil; me encanta la literatura, el cinema y la bebida, y soy muy grato por esta oportunidad de conocer un poco de Europa.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Before I started my Erasmus in Barcelona, I travelled around Europe for two months; while it was an extremely rich experience, I also felt it lacked - even though I tried to make it different - a real, true, local atmosphere to it (I stayed at hostels, always). So even though I visited a lot of countries and cities, I feel like I learned very little about the people who live there, which was my first goal to start with.

My ears, mouth and hands (I'm learning to cook and am always willing to learn more). Also, I can teach you how to make brigadeiro and doce de leite (it's very easy) and the recipe of a true brazilian Caipirinha.
