Overview
About Me
I'm a fledgling wine and travel blogger with my own website. I've been in the wine trade for 8 years now but have recently quit my job to travel the world and discover food and wine culture across the globe. I'm a laid back Englishman who loves banter, I'm sarcastic, quick witted and really easy to talk to. Oh and I quit smoking years ago.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To meet people from all over the world and make new friends.
Wherever I travel I always want to stay with locals. I am looking for local insider knowledge on where to go, where to eat and where to drink. You can only discover different cultures from within rather than looking in from the outside.
“Please be a traveler, not a tourist. Try new things, meet new people, and look beyond what’s right in front of you. Those are the keys to understanding this amazing world we live in.”

Film: Big Lebowski, North by Northwest, Casablanca, Vertigo, Rushmore

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Sleeping out under the stars in the Himalayas, at an altitude higher than the clouds and higher than Mount Blanc. I've never seen so many stars in all my life...it really put things into perspective.
