About Me

Hi there! I'm Pedro from Porto

After my first interrail in Central Europe I couldn't stop. Travelling became a valuable reason to work hard and after this first adventure in 2015, I did an Erasmus in Budapest, then my 2nd interrail in the Balkans, then trips to the Baltics, Africa, Asia and then I left Porto to travel for 3 months and that trip converted in a 2 years trip non stop in Latin America.
Not only travelling but specially meeting people from different cultures, different mindsets, experiences and stories are my true source of happiness, that I keep pursuing further and further in the Globe :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I had my first Couchsurfing experience in Finale Legure. I was welcomed by my super kind host Mohamed (Moroccan studying in Italy) and I felt more welcomed than ever. He showed me the local spots, he introduce me to his friends, and he even woke up at 7am to have breakfast with me just to have time to chat for a little bit more. It made my experience much better and since then, I believe that a good local host can provide and show stuff that I would never find by myself.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music is present in my everyday life as much as food or water! I listen to everything depending on my mood: edm, techno, hip hop, latin, rock, indie, literally a everything. Even the traditional portuguese music Fado.

Favorite "serious" Movie : Life is Beautiful
Favorite Comedy Movie: The Hungover

I prefer to read real stories or biographies so pretty much every book from the people I have some king of admiration.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Leaving my country for a 3 months holiday from work and ending up quiting my job and working in 4 different countries and travelling almost 2 years in Latin America

What I Can Share with Hosts

Life is about sharing. That's how we grow as humans and we become more cultivated.
I am happy to share and teach everything I know, from languages (portuguese, english, spaniah or french) or eventually some other skills.
Other than that I can promise to offer really good vibes!
