Overview
About Me
I'm a recent graduated chemical engineer from Portugal, born 27 years ago in Lisbon. However, since the "beggining" that I lived in Almada, on the other side of the bridge that dominates the Tagus river.
I consider myself a person that wants to continue to learn with other cultures, by traveling or by hosting people from other parts of the world.
In this 27 years I was lucky enough to visit a great part of the european countries, by doing two inter-rails with some great friends and other small trips through some european cities. Outside Europe, I already visited New York and some spots in the New Jersey state, and in Brazil I know the major cities through the brazilian states of Rio de Janeiro, São Paulo and Belo Horizonte, as well as the Iguazu falls region (Foz do Iguaçu, Ciudad del Este and Puerto Iguazu). I'm "working" on it to expand the knowledge throughout Latin America! :D
I've lived in Rio de Janeiro for 6 months in 2014, where I've done the experimental work for my master's thesis. One of the best times of my life, for sure...
Then I lived again in Brazil, for 6 months too, but this time doing an internship in Embraer, in São José dos Campos, state of São Paulo.
Now I'm back to Portugal!
Feel free to contact me for some walking tour or for some drinks in Lisbon or Almada.
Maybe I can host you in some dates but it will depend on the dates, since I live with my parents.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To be able to experience each spot that I visit with local people, meeting them in their house and sharing experiences like every human beeing should do in their travellings.
In addition, to create a network of travelers/hosts/people, giving the opportunity for my hosts to have a home to stay when visiting Portugal.
Interests
The things that I enjoy the most are travelling, geocaching, play the guitar, to know a city with my skateboard, to read a good book or to watch a great movie, to eat a typical and tasteful meal and pairing it with a great beer or wine, to enjoy a good afternoon in the beach, and so on...

Hum... It has to be the 35 day trip that I've done in Europe with a group of friends, in 2010, where I visited 10 countries by bus and train :)
Or the other one, three years later, for 20 days, only in Eastern Europe :D

Recent learning areas that I'm trying to explore:
