Travel + Travel!
My name name is Pedro Matos, I'm 24 years old and I'm a professional musician. I grew up in a small town near to the capital of Portugal, Lisbon.
I have two Bachelors done. One in classical guitar and another one in classical singing. As you understand, music it is my passion since I'm kid!!!! =)
I moved to Berlin to do a Master in Classical Singing/Opera. At the moment I'm studying with a professor to prepare myself for the auditions.
I love people in general and discover the entire world of diferences that we have!!!
I think that the best characteristic that I have is to be very social and friendly. Despite I'm a very organized person and that works hard in search of his objectives, i'm not a serious and lonely person.
I love a good conversation, sharing experiences, thoughts and also importants matters about our world.
Futhermore, of course I like to going out sometimes and get a drink and also find nice new spots on the places that I visit. I'm a fascinated person with the multi-cultural diversity around the world, and specially in the city where I'm living, Berlin.
I'm always hearing music, from classical music until rock, jazz and world music.
I like to read very much a good book, specially the classics.
Besides music, I already did some theater and also a lot of different sports. Competition gymnastics, karate, swimming and also football.
TRAVELLING it is for me the most important way to discover our purpose here!!!
Anything else, just ask!!!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Basically, I joined the Couchsurfing comunity after my change for Berlin. When I arrived to the city, I understood how close I was from so many countries. If I was already loving travel, when I opened my horizons in this multi-cultural city, that became stronger.
Besides this passion, I also love this different way of travelling, with real contact with native people (or people that is living in some place for a long time, even if it is not their hometown), who can show the best and the most typical of a place to you.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Well, I have a good story when I arrived Berlin
I was on the train, going home, and a guy completely drunk entered th train.
He was with a friend and suddenly the guy completely "died"on the seat. He was so deeply sleeping that his friend couldn't take him home alone. Basically, I helped this young man to hold his friend in arms and walk around 1km by feet until get their home. It was so unexpected that I had also a little bit of fear. But at the end, I just did something nice and the guy apreciated that.

At this moment I'm learning German in a school, here in Berlin and I'm speaking a lot of spanish with some latin friends that I met here. Of course I'm available to do some Tandem and sharing languages!
