ABOUT ME
Hello!
I'm Pedro I am 24 year old guy living in Dublin ( Ireland) and working as a chef in a lovely café in town. I was born in Brazil in small town called São Roque near the gigant São Paulo where I grew and lived one of the best times of my life.
My background is quite unusual. Im a quarter japanese as my mother's family went from Japan to Brazil to escape from the war. One of the things I love about my country is this cultural diversity that I am part of!
I was very happy in my country but I always had that will inside me that wanted to explore the world and experience new cultures . I used to picture myself living in different countries, making friends around the world and sharing my experiences so, in 2013, I decided to come to Ireland to study English and Travel around Europe. I can say I fulfilled my goal but I didn't know that I would fall in love for Ireland and make here my second home! Here I found good friends, quality of life and happiness!
I'm a person that loves to eat! I'm always trying differents kind of food and making experiments in my kitchen. I'm also into arts, cinema, literature, languages, music. So I am sure if one day we meet we will have a lot of things to talk about.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I am here basically to meet people, travel, learn, teach and share my life. (That's a big deal, isn't it?)
I love the idea of being able to stay in somebody's house and have an odd experience with a strange that can become a good friend or someone that will teach you something, make you change your perspectives, make you change, because that's what all my couchsurfing experiences did to me, they all add something new in me.
Fortunately I just had wonderful experiences with Couchsurfing. First time, back in 2011, I went to Rock in Rio and stayed in a lovely place in Rio de Janeiro with a friend. Then I hosted a Colombian friend and later a couple in my house in São Paulo. Here in Europe I used Couchsurfing in Amsterdam, Brussels, Paris and London and all my hosts were lovely people that I was lucky to meet.
At the moment I share on apartment with a few friends and we are not able to host anybody but I usually free for a coffee or a beer to show a little bit of Dublin!

I love any kind of Art. Movies, Literature, Cookery, Photography, Fashion, Music, Grafitti, Urban Arts, Architecture, Design and I would say a bit of Sports. I do enjoy running, swimming, cycling...

Teach, Learn, Share
At the moment I am looking for people to teach me French. I've been studying at home and going to classes in Alliance Française but I would love to meet someone here in Dublin to keep chatting with me in French.
I am also looking for a Spanish speaker for me to keep practicing my Spanish.
I can teach you Portuguese and English if you like. But I can also you help you to prepare a really good meal to impress someone! ;)
