About Me

I am a 24 years old Brazilian architect and urban designer, and also a post-grad student going to live in Amsterdam for 9 months (initially) for an internship.
I am really easy going and a very sociable person. Well, it will actually depend on you.. if you want me to be social, that’s perfect (I talk quite a lot and love to share!) but if you are someone who likes to keep yourself on your own space (and sometimes want to see no one in front of you), that’s also fine, I think I am very much adaptable.

I absolutely love a good chat filled with laughs!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Couchsurfing will be my primarily option when travelling around Europe (that student budget....), and what is the best way to get to know a city other than with a local advice? Also, making friends in different places is definitely one of the goals!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I thing the most amazing experience for me was to live in London for a year. Being inside a whole different culture environment (and with people from all over the world) showed me that differences aside, we are all equally human beings.
This was my first experience living abroad and it gave me a whole new vision of the world..

Also, one of the best things I did in my life was to be a volunteer for the Rio 2016 Olympics.. working with the Omega team, operating the scoreboard at the Future Arena (handball matches). I met so many people not only from other parts of Brazil, but from the United Sates, Mexico, Argentina, Germany, England, Spain.. met some athletes, got a shirt from one of the handball players from Copenhagen (gold winners) and even got to take a picture with the golden medal on me! After that, I already want to volunteer for Tokyo 2022!

One more to the list: over all the ladies, I caught the bride's bouquet on my friend's wedding.. and it was awesome!

Teach, Learn, Share

Well.. with my architectural background, if you wanna know something about buildings or cities we can have a long conversation about. Would love to teach how to cook an amazing meal, but first I gotta learn how to do it myself (maybe you can teach me something? hehe).

What I Can Share with Hosts

Pretty young here to have a lot of experience to share, but I'm sure that the few stories I have can put a smile on your face. Also, hope we can build up some stories to add the list!

And brazilian here so.. if you wanna know anything from Brazil, maybe even a few words in portuguese, I probably can help with that :D
