About Me

Welcome to my profile random traveller and thanks for coming by.

My first couch surfing experience was more intense (looking at you French mate) than the city itself. Not only did I find a great friend, but many experiences together. Needless to say, I was eager to repeat and someday, hopefully, give something back.

About me... Well, It's very difficult to describe someone on a profile, even more, if you're writing about yourself.
I'd say I have a very positive energy, guess you will have to meet me to know more :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Most, if not all, of my memories from the places I have visited are of the people I met there. In the end, it has been only those emotions that stood the pass of time. So why am I here? To create new memories.

Interests

I am very curious person.
As long as you're interested in what you're saying, it will certainly interest me.

I love my job (family physician). I study almost every day. I'm very passionate about integrative medicine (a personalized approach where you take into account nutrition, supplementation if necessary, gut microbiome...) and mental health (hypnosis, EMDR, trauma...)

I like investing too. I'm not very good at it, but I enjoy following the market, reading up on news, buying high, selling low... You know.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: I can enjoy everything but I have a special place in my heart for rock.
Pink Floyd and Bob Dylan would be my favorites. Lately I've been into instrumental/ambience: Bonobo, Zero 7, Japanese stuff...
Movies: Avatar, all the Pixar stuff (Soul being my favorite) and many more.
Books: Many, every couple of months a new favorite appears. My latest discovery was awareness (A. De Mello). The book that has spoken to me the most has been Siddhartha (H. Hesse)
I've read many books on finance and mathematics as it's a topic I struggle with (The small book that still beats the market, V.Tharp, how to own the world... and many more on financial freedom)
I'm a HUGE fan of Nassim Taleb, I've read and reread many of his books. I like Naval Ravikant very much too.
I have a special place in my heart for J.Peterson

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have 2 experiences I'm very fond of since I believe they were huge contributions to who I am today:
- Taking LSD in the nature with one of my best friends and bringing out inner things to work on.
- Living for 3 weeks with an Irish couple, completely off grid, who taught a city boy like me more than anything has ever done, before or after that experience.
Deeeeeeeeeep stuff, you better share with me your deep stuff when we meet. It's only fair now that you know mine.

Teach, Learn, Share

I am an avid learner, I love understanding and improving my set of skills. So definitely, teach me whatever you want to teach me, from how to tie a knot to string theory.

What I Can Share with Hosts

My knowledge of Spain as well as the best Tortilla de patata in town, cooked by Papa Oso(which is me).
Hours of conversation, listening and laughs. When I'm comfortable I love goofing around.
