About Me

Hello!

I am a Film student in the UK but currently am studying in Tokyo at Waseda University for one year as an exchange student, and I’m absolutely loving it!

I enjoy a night at the pub or in the dancefloor, in the living room or having a walk, anything will do if it's with good company.

I’m travelling with my girlfriend Yasmin around Nagano, Gifu, Aichi and Shizuoka Prefectures, intending to hitchhike all the way.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

There is no better way to get to know a place than experiencing it with locals!

Practicing Japanese!

Interests

I am really curious about the fact that everything, every single thing can become a passion (or an obsession, depending on the point of view), and any passion can be turned into art. Everyday more and more unimaginable activities are turned into art, and that's something i want to investigate. Is there a limit?

I love making videos about my travels, so I always travel with my camera, and I would like to start making my own music!

Hiking is a growing passion, I try to do a couple of hikes per month and will hike nonstop in Nagano!

Music, Movies, and Books

There is no genre I'm not interested in, discovering new music is one of my greatest pleasures.

The same thing with movies. The more movies I watch the better, everything is a source of knowledge. I travel with over 100 movies in my external hard drive, so if you like film we can watch a few!

Gabriel García Márquez has struck me like lightning.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Sleeping in a tent at 4500 metres of altitude.

Teach, Learn, Share

I play bass, guitar and can fool around with the harmonica, though my passion is singing. Would be delighted to teach any of those! And I really want to learn to play the piano.

Learning languages is always interesting and useful! Learning Japanese at the moment, which I really want to practice (one of my main reasons of this trip)

And of course sharing cultural knowledge is one of my main reasons for traveling.
