About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To make a return trip to Toronto and to get a feel for the Motor City on the way.
ABOUT ME
Well, I play music, I write ideas and other things down and I thrive on seeing new and different places. I love food, and finding great places to eat and check out the local culture is what guides me on my trips. I am easy-going, I love cities and small towns alike, and I am a random fact freak.
PHILOSOPHY
My life's moments interconnect through one simple philosophy that can be summed up in one two-word phrase: "good stuff".
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Well, I don't necessarily have a whole lot to offer someone heading my way, since I have five roommates and the house is pretty full. Nevertheless, if a Couch Surfer wants to stay at my place in near-rural Illinois (about an hour's drive west of Chicago), I will try to make it happen. If I can't help, then I'll try to find someone who can.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I am new to specifically this website. I stayed in Toronto in April '09 through GlobalFreeloaders.com and had a great time. Got to check out Canada's quintessential city in the best possible way—on the direction of a local. It was amazing.

Music, Movies, and Books
Yes.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I lived in a tent for one month as my band biked to and from a solar powered facility in central Wisconsin to record an album. That's probably the biggest think I can think of now.
Teach, Learn, Share
As a musician and a music teacher, I'd be happy to share a guitar/bass/mandolin/uke lesson with anyone who hosts me or surfs with me.
