About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Getting the most out of life and my time away from London

ABOUT ME

I'm currently living in Strasbourg, studying graphic design on ERASMUS. Having a wonderful time. When I get back to London at the end of June, I'll be spending the summer playing with my band at music festivals, possibly touring Europe on a bike. After that I'll be

PHILOSOPHY

Work in progress!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've only couch surfed once, but it was great! I'll definitely be opening up my couch when I get back to London!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Stayed at a great flat in Paris with Couchsurf host Clio and friend Anita.

Interests

Right now I'm developing an interest in 'processing', that is to say writing programs to visualise data and make interactive fun stuff!

Other than that, I've been making music in one way or another for many years now. From writing music for television documentaries, to playing live at music festivals. Current instrument is the ukulele, which I've also taught for about 5 years now.

Also love cycling and have done a London to Paris a couple of times and also London to Cornwall. I'm toying with the idea of doing a London to 'all across Europe' tour...

I like cooking and drinking beer too!

Music, Movies, and Books

Discovered the films of Michael Haneke last year, he seems to be a total genius.
Last great book I read was The Wind Up Bird Chronicles by Haruki Murakami.
Ah music... There's a lot to mention, but a few diverse examples are that I like are Jonathan Richman, The Zombies, Love, Dent May, Magma. Current favourite is Wendy Rene, an amazing, not-nearly-well-known-enough soul singer from the 60s, check her out.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Organising a group of 100 ukulele players and performing live in front of 15,000 people at Bestival in between Soul II Soul and Beastie Boys.

Teach, Learn, Share

Experienced ukulele teacher, but always willing and able to share any knowledge and skills I have.

Countries I’ve Visited
