ABOUT ME
Born in NYC, lived in 10 of the United States of America, lived 16 years in Germany. First cultural shock? Moving from New York State (rural kid) to South Carolina!! lol
Young at heart, mature in mind, open to others' opinions, generous, ethical, moderate.
PHILOSOPHY
Get out of your own way and live life to the fullest without hurting others along the way. Fight hard against "bad" things in life so we can all have some quality life on this earth.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I have been around Couchsurfing a few years, but have had only a little personal experience with surfing and hosting. I am interested in different countries and cultures and appreciate the opportunity to connect with so many nice people.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have not had a lot of couchsurfing experience. Because of my work and recent extended stay in the U.S. I only had the opportunity to have one visitor after signing up. :( My first visit went very well! I'm hoping to expand my experiences in the future. Also, my new landlord has asked that we do NOT accept any Couchsurfing or Airbnb guests ever. For the next year, I guess I will have to stay with this situation. : (

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Amazing of course was the birth of my own child many years ago. Amazing were the times I thought I couldn't, but in the end... I really could. I really love my work, so really amazing is when one of my clients calls me up and is shaking on the other end of the phone and says, "I did it!"
I've lived on two continents and have moved over 27 times in my life. I have been married more than once and have worked in companies and built two of my own small businesses. I have seen so many wonderful and amazing things! I cannot even choose just one.
From all of the things I have seen in life, I realize, it's just a small piece of the world. So much left to experience and do little time.
Teach, Learn, Share
Since I'm a personal coach for business people, I'm pretty focused on certain things/topics. I help people understand what they are doing which works for or against them while they reach (or don't reach) their goals. I work with managers in companies and company owners as well as just "normal" people interested in finally getting what they really want. I often spend my free time working with friends and colleagues who also want to learn this information. I am a life-learner and want to be so until I am no longer on this earth.
