About Me

Drifting around the world in my twenties :)

First began with volunteer work in Northern Thailand and Kolkata. The final year of my uni I went to Maastricht in the Netherlands as an exchanged student. That year opened my eyes a lot.

In 2012 quit my job and did four months through South East Asia and India. Stay 6 months at Christchurch, NZ. Then I went working holiday in Australia for two years.

In 2015, left Australia and traveling through Latin American, From Mexico to Argentina (including Antarctica) for ten months, then continuing to Morroco, Spain, Turkey, and land crossing through Central Aisa. Then took Siberia train from St.Petersburg all the way to Vladivostok.

Soon I started the work as a travel consultant with American Express. Just when I thought I might be settled down this time... got two years work visa in the UK. Voila! Rolling on the road here I am.

Music, Movies, and Books

La vita è bella, Les Choristes remains my favorite movies. I like to find films direct by independent directors.

I also like reported literature by the journalist or independent writer. for example:
"Enrique's Journey" is a story talking about illegal migration of children in Central America. "Bitter Chocolate: Investigating the Dark Side of the World's Most Seductive Sweet", "Nothing to Envy: Ordinary Lives in North Korea"

It's written as readable stories but based on reality that makes you learn and think. The writers in general spent several years to dig in those topics that modern developed societies less talked about.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Complete visiting seven continents

(Every journey is unique, every experience is trasureable. I don't think it can be measured by how many countries you have been. As a traveler it's a milestone, whereas there's a lot more things in life I'm still learning :))) )
