ABOUT ME

I am an open-minded person who likes to get to know new people from close and afar. I live together with my wife, and we pretty much come in the same package - no matter if we're hosting someone or traveling by ourselves.

We live in Vesilahti, which is a small village close to Tampere. If we are around, there is a free room available. Vesilahti can be reached from Tampere conveniently by a bus in 40 minutes, but connections are limited specially at evening time and weekends. In the summer time we often spend time at a summer cottage in Savonlinna. There we live at lakeside in the middle of beautiful nature but without any modern luxuries such as running water.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We have been backpacking in China, Thailand, Malaysia and Singapore before joining CouchSurfers. We hosted first surfer at sunmer 2012.
