We're a happy and peaceful couple with two cats. Pekka is currently finishing his studies at the University, while Tuula has already graduated and is in the search of a job.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We would like to meet people from all over the world. We will be offering a couch somewhere in the future. Whenever we have the time and money, we would really love to travel and get to see other couchsurfers.

Interests

We like to do stuff outdoors: biking & walking in the summer, ice-skating and skiing in the winter. Currently we're learning boogie woogie (as in the dance). We enjoy movies and try to see theatre plays when we can. We both love reading a lot, both fiction and non-fiction. We share an interest for traveling as well. From time to time we (together or separately :)) enjoy going out for a drink and meet friends.

Music, Movies, and Books

Pekka: my favorite fiction writers are Stephen King and H.P. Lovecraft. I enjoy reading class B fantasy and sci-fi :) and non-fiction about history and politics.

Tuula: I mostly read non-fiction, esp. classics and other well-written stuff from the 20th century. I prefer movies with a meaning. One of my all-time favorite bands is the Beatles.

We're both historians, so we're able to tell you a lot about e.g. Finnish history and Finland. We would like to learn more about your country.
