Overview
About Me
I´m a 24 year-old Spanish guy who is starting a Round-the-world trip in October 2015, for 18-24 months (or as far as my savings take me).
What took me to this point:
1. I wasn´t happy with my job and think I am wasting my time doing something I don´t like for a living.
2. Would like to focus this trip on a photographic/journalistic way, as I enjoy both of this think and would like to do it for a living in the future (hope so).
3. The last and the most important, to meet new people, cultures, discover new places, walk unbeaten tracks and keep moving so it becomes a whole experience for myself and for those who share it with me.
I have lived all my life in madrid except from one year in New Orleans (Lousiana, US), an awesome place where the culture, music and people has one of the strongest character I have ever seen, and I have seen a couple of places!
I hope you like sharing culture, joy, wisdom, or experiences.
Like: Traveling (surprise!), Literature, Music, Photography, Architecture, Surfing (at the sea, this time), Animals and of course every kind of gastronomy.
I am currently building my trip Blog but hope to have it running soon.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
“If you say that getting the money is the most important thing, you'll spend your life completely wasting your time. You'll be doing things you don't like doing in order to go on living, that is to go on doing thing you don't like doing, which is stupid.” Allan Watts.
As I said above, I will be traveling around the world for a couple of months. As a part of this overwhelming experience I would like to get to know the people of the country I am visiting or living there and believe this is the best way you can get to know the people and culture of a country.
I would like to find open-minded people who like to talk, walk, going out and get to know each other, soak up the culture of wherever I am, make friends and if possible find a bed to rest ;)
As of today, I am not living alone and cannot share my house to surfers but I hope when I come back from this journey I will have my own house and will host and share knowledge with surfers of all around the world!
