One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hitch hiked across a Persian desert with my friend who had been, up until our time of rendezvous in Tehran, almost exclusively my pen pal, after having met in Jakarta two years previous, and beginning our letter writing correspondence shortly thereafter, while living on opposite sides of the world, me in Tasmania, him in Berlin, deciding, in January of 2017, to meet in the place we estimated to be halfway between us both.
