About Me

CURRENT MISSION

see as much of America as possible

ABOUT ME

I like people, well, some people, the people who have interesting stories, who can teach me something I had never thought to learn before, who are relaxed and happy, who have a drive to do something, anything really. I love adventuring and refuse to be one of those old people who looks back at their life and say that youth is wasted on the young. You can only be young once, and I fully intend to enjoy it.

PHILOSOPHY

Get it while you can.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I try to have an open couch when I am not out travelling or living on a campus. Currently am looking to surf some myself.

Interests

Art, Music, Poetry, Camping, Cooking. I love working with kids. I am also very random and love to go on hikes through some mountainous region.. I'm interested in pretty much anything that you can open my mind to.

Music, Movies, and Books

HOWL ~ Allen Ginsburg
Anything by Kerouac, Kesey, Tom Wolfe, Tom Robbins, or Micheal Moore.
1984, Brave New World, The Joy Luck Club
Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter, and Still Life with Woodpecker

I listen to mostly folk music, old school, Dylan, Mauldaur, Baez, Joplin, Guthrie (woody and arlo)
Sixties rock and roll, new alternative, which in my definition includes all indie and scene music. Gogol Bordello, Modest Mouse, Scissor Sisters, Kaiser cheifs, Agianst Me, AA Bondy, David Bowie. I also want to invest in the new GnR album.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I saw the Pacific ocean for the first time a few weeks ago. I cried, feeling the presence and the power that is housed in the Pacific, the possibilities and the love. I could feel Hecate all around me, and it was just, amazing. There is no other word for it.

Teach, Learn, Share

I know random things about everything. Or, at least, almost every subject. I can sew, knit, hike, split wood (in a dress) cook. I am always ready to discuss art and writing, my two passions in life.

I really want to just learn anything and everything.
